I am friends with a couple that is very wealthy. The wife doesn’t work outside of the home, but wants to work part-time as a waitress. She grew up in the business and loves it. Her husband does not want her to do this, he is worried about what people will think. How can I support her and advise her? She loves the restaurant business. Her husband thinks it is degrading.

Wealthy brother in law buys my husband expensive gifts?
05 18th, 2009 Author: admin
Should I be concerned? my brother inlaw is constantly buying husband expensive gifts! He is not an honest man! I don’t know what he does for a living. He makes himself look really wealthy. It’s all a front. He last townhome was on a forclosure website. He dosen’t pay for anything he buys. It’s a problem because he buys my husband gifts and the manages to create problems for us. I need to tread lightly because it is my hubby’s brother, but ladies what would you do?
I don’t think he is stealing wallets. A little more money is involved then that. I don’t care about the gifts It’ s the principle of working for what you have and not owing anyone anything! That is what my hubby doesn’t get.

Can I still get my share of the home my ex husband and I had a joint venture in when I agreed in the divorce.
05 17th, 2009 Author: admin
papers to sign over my share to him? He told me that he would do the legal work with the other couple we had the joint venture with and then give me my share. The only reason I went along with this is that the other couple was very wealthy and told me they would never give me my share and would fight me in court. I asked several lawyers and they told me they would not take the case because this couple would bankrupt thier company if they tried to fight for me. I have argued with my ex over this for NINE years and he told me that he never got a dime and I should forget about it. I should mention that I am disabled and have no money and the house was worth around 6million at the time of the divorce. Well, I just learned from a member of my ex husbands family that he did get 3.6 million from the other couple. I NEVER signed ANY papers to sell this house and have no idea how they were able to buy my ex out and not have my signiture? What kind of lawyer would I need?
Thank you for that answer…I did go to the court house and got the deed and it only said the owners of the house…the other couple. I had my copy of the Deed with all 4 names on it. I can’t understand how they could have changed the Deed without me signing anything???
Thank you….But, in the divorce papers it states that I must sign over the house to him, I never signed. May I also add that he told me if I did not sign over the house he would take the kids out of the country and I would never see them again. He was not born here, so it could have happened and I knew that…I would never have agreed to this if I was not so scared about the kids.

How can we prevent universities from only offering need-based scholarships, which will ruin higher education?
05 14th, 2009 Author: admin
Let me start of by saying that my husband is extremely wealthy so I will have no trouble paying the cost of college for my twin boys, who are currently 9. I will ensure that they remain in private school in order to receive the highest SAT scores.
However, as many schools are increasingly providing scholarships ONLY on a need-based basis. This seems rather unfair since I don’t want my babies going to college with a bunch of inner city ghetto kids.
This will obviously ruin the future of higher education. If kids can’t go to college just because their parents are rich, how are we going to balance this with kids who are children of illegal immigrants, or single mothers, etc. Seems like this will be destined to be the future of America sadly.

Do you think there will be a crisis in provinces with filipinas seeking a better life?
05 13th, 2009 Author: admin
I was watching about a crisis in China which cant be fully compared due to the strict 1 child per family control. But it made me think as things become more westernised in the Philippines are filipinas more likely to seek a wealthy husband in the cities which will live a declining population in the provinces.

what would you do if your husband was in this situation?
05 11th, 2009 Author: admin
My husband got out of the Marine Corps a month ago. There’s no income coming in except a few hundred dollars a month I get for disability. There’s not enough to cover for rent. Rent was due by today so at this point things are scary. My husband called his wealthy family and they said they’re not going to help because he needs to learn responsibility. Well his license got suspended a while back because he never paid a speeding ticket, he lost his social security card. I got online and filled resumes out for him. I even got him a few job applications. However he will not fill them out. I don’t want to argue with him over it anymore because it seems to do no good but cause problems . We currently have no food at all and he went online and asked people for help, but I feel it’s not others responsibility to help us. I have talked to my family about coming home and leaving until he will have to learn on his own that I should not have to live this way either. How ever my family said, I am married that I have to work it out even if it means becoming homeless. I currently have 5 ad’s up for day care and am going to meet with a few people next week. So I am doing all that I can do. When my husband first got out of the Marine Corps, the first few days he did turn in about 15 applications and had no luck. I am not sure if he is discouraged or what. My question is, what should I do? I have told my husband we can’t be homeless and if no money is coming in we’re going to end up that way. He said, it won’t happen and then posted an ad online for help. How can he expect to live this way and what is wrong with him? Please help

How can I divorce my husband for another man yet still collect everything that’s due to me?
05 11th, 2009 Author: admin
Let me just start by saying that my husband is very wealthy, making about $2,000,000 per annum. I have found someone at my tennis club who is also very wealthy who I want to go for. What’s the best way to divorce my husband and partner with this gentleman while still being eligible for alimony payments. Is there any way to remarry and still collect the alimony payments? I just really don’t want to be at a loss here if things don’t work out.
I live in Newport Beach, California if that makes any difference with the divorce laws.
To answer some of your questions, nothings really wrong with my husband but I like this guy better. My husband is about 10 years older than I am and this other guy is closer to how old I am.
Also, I have 2 twin boys, 9 years old. How can I make sure I can get full custody?
